Learning Navigator
(Educational Therapist)

Here at The Learning Navigators we believe in providing communicative, individualized supports to students with learning differences in their academic and social lives.  Our educational therapists work with a high level of independence and flexibility to help students navigate through various struggles related to ADHD, Executive Functioning, Dyslexia, ASD, and more. They also utilize the student's school work and other home/school environmental factors to coordinate with the school and families to encourage students to grow and become independent, lifelong learners.

1.     Serve as the organization’s representative in all activities connected with the provision of Educational Therapy services to a client
2.     Perform all duties necessary to help clients achieve their educational and personal goals
3.     Maintain effective relationships with current clients (…and allied professionals connected to the client).
4.     Advocate for the value of Educational Therapy.
5.     Maintain and upgrade knowledge of Educational Therapy and related fields and potential strategies that can be used to provide a better service to clients as well as help grow the practice
6.     Maintain up-to-date, accurate records, files, forms, notes, etc.
7.     Establish short- and long-term objectives to consistently improve the accomplishment of the above.

Duties and Responsibilities

​​This is a part-time virtual position with the potential for full-time. As such, it is expected that you be proficient in virtual meeting software such as Zoom, Google Meet, etc. You must have at least 6 hours of availability per week.

Certified educational therapists, qualified learning specialists, and people with educational experience preferred.
